If you haven't guessed it, my name is Lauren! I live in Angier with my husband and daughter. I've been fascinated with photography most of my life... to put it short, I got my first camera around 8 years old and it's evolved from there. Photography has been something that I have loved since a young age and I throughly enjoy sharing what I do with others. I decided to take my hobby, and something I love so much, to a new level back in June of 2012; I upgraded my camera equipment, computer, software, and started following other photography blogs/tutorials/websites, getting tips from my photographer friends, as well as attending photographic workshops. I looked into what it took to take my most beloved hobby and turn it into a potential career. I am still in the process of creating a thriving business doing what I love to do. As of January 28, 2014 LBP is now Lauren Beasley Photography LLC. Whoohoo! It's now official. It's all still a learning process and I learn something new everyday.
I am currently a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) & Professional Photographers of North Carolina (PPoNC). I have already declared my candidacy to become a CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) and I am in the process of completing the requirements to do so. When it's official, I will announce it to the world!!!
