I am a little behind on blogging my sessions… I have been busy making sure that I get everything to my clients in an orderly fashion and in that process I have put off my blogging schedule… Ooops!

This session was done with a family so near and dear to my heart and I have always called them family (even before Jon and I got married). ;) Cindy wanted family portraits with their home as their backdrop. A fitting choice since this has been their long time home and many memories have been shared there.

If you would like to do family portraits at your home, I would love to do them for you there. The only stipulation is that the area that we do the pictures must be out of direct sunlight. Please send me a message if you would like more information on doing portraits at your home or another location.

Flash Sale THIS WEEKEND ONLY

Yes, that's right I am running a sale for this weekend only. All half, full, and newborn sessions are half off this weekend only and must take place this weekend. I might even be able to squeeze in a session this afternoon (friday)  if anyone is interested.

To give you an idea, a half session with the %50 off discount is $65. That is a major deal. Unfortunately this deal ENDS on Sunday at dusk. So, if you are looking at your picture frames and thinking, "we need some new pictures"… Now is the time to do something about it.

If you have been following me, my studio room is just about finished. All that is left is finishing up the molding/trim. Actually, I have my Christmas backdrop up and I am testing it out with a family on Saturday morning (see the test shot at the bottom). So, if you are in need of Christmas pictures I have that backdrop set up and I am getting ready to get out my decorations and props. I can also change out the backdrop, but that room best accommodates children and newborns (adults will have to be sitting).

We had our second successful "Make & Take" sign class at Rita's Decor & More hosted by Anna Beasley.

If you are wondering what a "Make & Take" class is, it is a class/workshop/get together/party that is lead by Anna. She brings all the materials you need to create your own unique wooden sign. It makes for a great time to spend with friends or maybe even meet some new one's in the process. It is a lot of fun, take a look for yourself at the album for this class. Or the last class that was held at the end of October, here.
